Advice that starts in the kitchen.

Celestial Gourmet is a Singapore-based F&B consultancy and technology company. It is built on its founding team's hands-on experience opening and running restaurant concepts in Singapore, so its advice starts from the realities of the kitchen, the cost line and the staffing roster.

  • Concept, menu and operations advice from people who have run restaurants
  • Hands-on set-up of POS, ordering, inventory and AI tools in the same engagement
  • Engagements sized for owner-operators as well as multi-outlet groups

Changes implemented, not just recommended.

Five ways we help F&B businesses.

From first concept to opening day and beyond: the advice, systems and training a restaurant needs, delivered by one partner.

Restaurant concept and menu development

A strong concept is easy to explain and hard to copy, and the menu is where it either holds together or falls apart. We work from how a kitchen actually runs: what the line can produce at peak, what each dish costs to make, and what diners in your area will pay for it.

  • Concept positioning: who it is for, how it is different, what the format and price band should be
  • Menu structure and engineering, so popular dishes also earn their place on margin
  • Recipe costing and plate specifications your kitchen can repeat
  • Pricing that reflects food cost, labour and what local competitors charge

Why operators work with Celestial Gourmet.

Local consultants offer advice. Software vendors offer systems. We bring an operator's judgement and hands-on technology into a single engagement.

Operator experience

Recommendations come from people who have opened and run restaurants, so they rest on real kitchen, cost and staffing decisions.

Advice and technology in one partner

Concept and operations consulting sits alongside hands-on set-up of POS, ordering, inventory and AI tools, so changes are implemented, not just recommended.

A Singapore standard

Singapore's reputation for disciplined operations and food-safety standards shapes how we document, train and measure.

Close to the market

West Malaysia shares cuisines, languages and dining habits with Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru are within easy reach for on-site work.

West Malaysia is a large market under real cost pressure.

Rising wages, digital payments and a market of mostly independent operators all point the same way: practical, operator-led help that protects margins.

How we help

How an engagement works.

Every engagement follows the same four steps, sized to your business and agreed with you before any work starts.

  1. Step 1: See it in service

We visit your kitchen and floor, talk to your team and look at the numbers behind each shift: sales, food cost, labour and waste.

  2. Step 2: Agree the plan

You get a short, prioritised plan: what to change first, what it should save or earn, and what it will take.

  3. Step 3: Put it in place

We implement alongside your team: menus, SOPs, rosters, systems and training. Not a report left on a shelf.

  4. Step 4: Measure and adjust

We track the results against the plan, adjust what is not working and hand over routines your managers can keep running.

Insights for Malaysian operators.

Questions operators ask us.

Anything else? Send us a question.

Do you work with independent restaurants, or only groups?

Both. We work with single-outlet owner-operators, multi-outlet groups, new F&B brands and hotel or venue F&B teams. The scope is sized to the business, so an independent café gets a focused engagement, not a head-office programme.

You are based in Singapore. Can you work on-site in Malaysia?

Yes. Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru are within easy reach of Singapore, and we plan on-site visits around your trading pattern. Between visits, we work with your team remotely.

Do you only give advice, or do you also implement?

We implement. Advice and technology sit in one engagement, so recommendations turn into new SOPs, configured systems and trained teams, not just a report.

Which areas of West Malaysia do you cover?

Our focus is the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur and Selangor), Penang and Johor. If you are elsewhere in Malaysia, get in touch and we will tell you how we can help.

How does an engagement start?

With a conversation about your business and what you want to change. If there is a fit, we visit, look at your numbers and propose a scope, timeline and fee before any work begins.

Tell us what you want to fix, open or grow.

Share a little about your outlet or brand and what is on your mind. We will come back to you to arrange a first conversation, with no obligation.
